A Touch of Sugar Trailer

More than 30 million Americans have diabetes — that's about 1 in 10 adults — and 90 to 95% of them have type 2 diabetes. A Touch of Sugar dives into the diabetes healthcare epidemic that affects every community in the United States, told through the voices of people united in their struggle with this chronic disease.

Diabetes management doesn't occur in isolation. These stories bring to life the emotional challenges, social factors and public perceptions that have a significant impact but go unnoticed far too often.

To request a link to view the film, please visit AmericasDiabetesChallenge.com and press the link at the top of the page that reads "Click Here to View A Touch of Sugar." On the website, you will also find educational materials and type 2 diabetes management resources.

Community in Action

As a 501 c4 organization we are community built and based. It is important to bring to light the benefit of Social Welfare Organizations in the area in which you live as there are ways to help our grass roots founders.  The best way of keeping community involvement and organizations alive is by addressing a common cause, one that affects  family, friends or loved ones.  By building grass root citizen participation, incredible progressive projects in which participants can actually see a difference can become contagious
